1986 oder ’87 hatte ich mit meinem Job als Radio-DJ ein wenig Geld verdient und konnte es mir leisten, einen (für meine Verhältnisse damals sündhaft teuren) Roland S50 Sample-Player zu kaufen, der mir zum ersten Mal die Möglichkeit eröffnete, professionell gesampelte Instrumentenklänge in meiner Musik zu verwenden. Diese Skizze entstand beim Erforschen des Instruments. Ich meine, das Stück könnte sich ganz gut als Hintergrundmusik in einer Comedy-Fernsehserie machen.
1986 or 7 I had earned a bit of money in my job as a radio DJ and could affort to buy a Roland S50 sample player (costed a fortune) which gave me, for the first time, the opportunity to incorporate professionally sampled instrument sounds into my music. This song is a miniature that evolved while exploring the instrument. I always felt it could serve well as background music in a comedy TV series.
